Family’s dog gives birth to bright green puppy named Hulk: A family's dog gave birth to a healthy litter of eight puppies,
but she also delivered one very colorful surprise. Shana Stamey, the owner of a white German shepherd named Gypsy,
told Asheville, North Carolina, ABC affiliate WLOS that the fourth puppy ”was lime green."
A local veterinarian told WLOS that some puppies come out tinted due to a stain from meconium, or their first stool.
The color will fade, though Stamey and her family had fun with it and are calling the furball Hulk after the Marvel
comic book character. “We thought about Gremlin, [or] Pistachio. We call him Mr. Green sometimes,” she said. “He’s pretty special.”
